The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Warriors Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of characters, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, fiends, and dark forces expanding in influence within the city.

Note: Key plot points for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

Episode 3 ended with a dramatic pause and introduced the first table of characters who will branch out from the main group to begin their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team includes Teor (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that having everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a typically action-packed battle-oriented story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might look out of place, but the developments of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, striking Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to auction.

The traitor then paid off his obligations and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, desires revenge.
  • The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous location.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to execute Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in the influential clan could enable the group reach areas they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, Teor vowed a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that govern the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The healer betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.

This results in them no alternative but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Seekers and Strategists tables.

Audiences can look forward to discovering which characters will be in which group in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
